Associate Mobility Specialist - Richmond, VA


We are looking for an Associate Mobility Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will help improve the productivity of CoStar Group employees by being the first point of contact for internal IT information and problem resolution focusing on our mobility platform. This is accomplished by diagnosing and resolving problems with Mobile Device hardware, third-party and proprietary software, internet connectivity, and other issues in a timely and professional manner via telephone, email, remote tools, and hands-on support.

Excellent customer service should be your motto. You are a self-starter, problem solver, and excellent communicator. You can clearly explain troubleshooting steps over the phone to customers and are willing to adjust your explanation as needed to resolve issues quickly. You can juggle multiple projects at once, with frequent follow up to the customer.

This position is in our Richmond, VA office and has the opportunity for hybrid work with up to two days remote per week. Four-day work weeks are also an option for those applicants that are interested.


  • Provide guidance, assistance, coordination, and follow up on customer questions, problems or malfunctions of all systems applications, hardware, and software installed and maintained by the company utilizing our Jira ticketing platform.
  • Configure and troubleshoot multiple mobile devices, including but not limited to: iPads, smart phones, and other IOT devices
  • Responsible for managing the mobile devices and their configurations to the Lead Mobility Engineer
  • Document problems and solutions in the IT Support ticketing system
  • Inform management of potential problems and identify problem trends by providing / generating comprehensive reports and metrics for monitoring of services
  • Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade mobility hardware and software as needed
  • Participate in projects related to the mobile device environment, such as assessment, deployment, and implementation of hardware and software upgrades and procedures
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned


  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
  • At least 1 year of experience providing customer support for mobile devices
  • Ability to lift/move equipment up to 50 lbs


  • Call center support experience with mobile carriers
  • MDM experience Intune, Meraki, WorkspaceOne
  • IT certifications
