Job Description
OVERVIEW
CoStar Group is the world’s leading provider of information and marketing solutions for the Commercial Real Estate industry. We are searching for a Junior HR Business Partner to support teams across CoStarGroup products. The primary objective of this role is to support and coordinate essential HR functions. Areas of oversight and job focus will include administration of HR programs, data and analytics, and employee relations. In this role, he/she will be tasked with working on all facets of HR and people strategies that align with business objectives and goals and provide a unique and dynamic employee experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support and execute full lifecycle employee and HR processes including bonus program(s), promotions, performance review processes, year-end compensation, engagement survey roll-out, manager excellence, exits and other recurring people processes.
Possess a keen understanding of the overarching strategy of the business with the ability to counsel leaders to enable growth of the business, drive retention and develop career strategies of our people
Analyze data and effectively organize and present findings to drive data-backed HR strategy. Draw analysis-based conclusions and collaborate on innovative solutions.
Predict, assess, and determine business needs in the areas of organizational design, staffing, performance management, succession planning, development, and communication plans
Demonstrate a commitment to diversity and inclusion
Monitor and resolve morale issues and leadership effectiveness that leads to the successful achievement of business goals and employee satisfaction
Partner with other HR functions to identify, evaluate and drive forward key training and development courses that hone strong talent at all levels of the organization.
Contribute to the strategy and development of a best-in-class HR organization
Develop enhanced people related communication strategies that drive engagement
Participate in special projects to ensure effective delivery of HR initiatives and services.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required
Minimum of 2 years HR experience required, Generalist/HRBP experience preferred
Excellent data analysis, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in excel and Office suite required
Experience producing results in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Basic understanding of employment law, particularly in California
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience working within the Workday HRIS platform
Demonstrated ability to succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders
Self-directed and able to balance multiple time-sensitive deliverables and effectively prioritize, organize, and manage time.
Proactive and results-oriented with strong attention to detail and excellent follow through
Commitment to excellence and high level of integrity; ability to exercise strict confidentiality and sound judgement
Strong client-service focus and ability to build and manage relationships across different levels and functions
