Role Description: The Email Marketing Developer and Automation Manager is responsible for both B2B and B2C email campaigns. This person will work on multiple email projects to include creating templates in HTML, campaign set-up and launch, and testing and analysis. We are looking for a person who is passionate about email and is excited to test new ideas. The ideal candidate can hit the ground running using best practices for email development to translate art director designs into Salesforce MC emails to create new email template systems. Qualified candidates will be comfortable working on a number of projects at once in a fast-paced environment. This position reports to the Head of Lifecycle Marketing.
Responsibilities:
Email coding and template development with HTML/CSS
Campaign setup, execution, and analysis
Maintain and present email performance reports and make recommendations to the team
Coordinate with the design team and data team to deliver email campaigns on schedule
Work with the various product teams to track and improve our transactional emails
Basic Qualifications:
3-5+ years of relevant experience in email marketing
Minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master's degree preferred
Ability to script and build dynamic emails with variable content for multiple versions of an email
Experience testing email rendering across multiple email clients and platforms
Marketing Cloud /Pardot experience
Strong problem-solving skills, decision making, relationship management, and project ownership skills
An eye for detail and solid design
Ability to jump in and help where needed
Experience with Figma, Dreamweaver, and the Adobe Creative Suite a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of HTML and CSS (Responsive email coding)
Knowledgeable on email sending and testing best practices
SQL experience a plus
Expert multi-tasker, able to juggle a variety of projects and adjust for spur-of-the-moment requests
Highly detail oriented, organized, and independent
