What Youll Do:

As the Senior Sales Operations Analyst you will be responsible for leveraging process and tools expertise to meet/exceed Cox Automotives sales team members needs related to referrals, sales orders and contracts. You will process sales orders and contracts (researching, analyzing and creating contracts for the sales organization) in response to requests from Sales while proactively identifying improvements. A primary focus will be to ensure incoming orders comply with Cox Automotives standards and guidelines while meeting the needs of the Sales team and the Client. You will also be expected to efficiently resolve proposal and contracting issues.

Some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Act as SME for special projects and for others on the team as needed. The expectations would be to properly communicate day to day actuality and provide insight into areas that could use improvement.
  • Proactively identify order process bottlenecks and recommend tool and/or process solutions that drive gains in efficiency and accuracy.
  • Serve as escalation point for others on the team to solve for trends and/or specific complex scenarios. Complex scenarios include, but not limited to: breaking standard processes, needing to work around existing tool structure and one off requests.
  • Work individually and as a team to complete tasks from high volume, multichannel queue of incoming requests for contracts, leads, referrals and help from the Sales team
  • Own contracts through the proposal process lifecycle, from initial research to contract/quote building and through approval and finalization
  • Analyze and research previous, customer-specific contract details and any existing higher level governing agreements (i.e. OEM agreements) to inform recommendation on pricing, volume and discounting that balances Sales/End Customer expectations with CAI standards and guidelines
  • Complete minor changes/updates to systems to allow appropriate order, contract, etc flow through process; minor changes/adjustments include, but are not limited to: approval hierarchy updates, specific field requirements, etc
  • Create, edit, review proposals and contracts to ensure information is complete, accurate, and meets business requirements
  • Timely resolution to internal customer requests
  • Monitor, upload and finalize proposals/contracts received from Sales
  • Work with internal teams to audit and fix incorrect or incomplete proposals according to the companys booking policy
  • Stay up to date on changes happening throughout the organization and the industry that impact go to market strategy

Required:

  • Bachelors Degree and 5+ years of relevant experience, ideally in a sales/business operations role, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred:

  • 4+ years Configure/Price/Quote (CPQ) software experience or relevant systems (Billing/CLM) or similar
  • Experience directly supporting large, complex sales teams at the enterprise-level or relevant work experience
  • Experience with and knowledge of the SalesForce.com platform
  • Ability to read, interpret and explain contractual information
  • Ability to work on MSA, RFP and complex SOW
  • Ability to work in a team-based environment and demonstrate initiative to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Solid analytical skills with a propensity to uncover data discrepancies
