RTS Inside Regional Sales Manager

This is a #remote position, and the incoming candidate can work from their home office. The incoming candidate will support sales efforts primarily in Northern California but will also support the rest of the state as needed.

What Youll Do:

The RTS Inside Regional Sales Manager generates revenue within an assigned territory by selling our various product solutions to customers that will enhance their RTS workflow generating revenue and profits for the dealer. This will be achieved thru virtual demonstrations of our products as well as working closely with your Dealertrack RTS Outside Regional Sales Manager for these solutions.

In addition to building your sales pipeline and closing sales opportunities. Heres more of what you can expect when you step up to the plate:

  • Share a territory goal and work in partnership with an Outside Regional Sales Manager to coordinate prospective clients and up-sell opportunities.
  • Use the Challenger based selling approach to manage and successfully close sales opportunities.
  • To prospect new dealers and dealer groups within assigned territory to effectively grow their install base
  • To manage incoming marketing leads and referrals in a timely, efficient manner.
  • Upon completion of the sale, engage the dealer to install & train the dealer on the solution.
  • To build and develop strong working relationships with customers and users at all levels from Dealer/Owner/Decision-Maker down.
  • Demonstrate "ownership" of account by responding to client requests same day
  • To generate additional business/revenue within existing accounts for additional stores and product
  • Conquest competitive accounts within territory with the goal of converting to Dealertrack F&I
  • Maintain accurate customer and sales activity information inside Salesforce.com
  • Ensure that your monthly and yearly sales goals are met or exceeded consistently
  • Provide accurate forecasting and develop weekly and monthly sales plans to manage your sales funnel.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of relevant work experience
  • BS/BA in a related discipline OR an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
  • 5+ years of recent retail automotive experience

Preferred Requirements:

  • Software sales or automotive sales experience
  • The ideal candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the auto dealership departments and its processes
  • Understanding and demonstration of Challenger sales skills
  • Previous experience in managing a multi-state sales territory
  • Previous experience using a Customer Relationship Management system
  • Previous experience selling remotely
  • Outstanding relationship management capabilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively work with all levels at the dealership
  • Ability to articulate/communicate in a way that retains engagement
  • Exceptional listening skills and ability to detect problems/risks without being in a face-to-face situation
  • Must have excellent customer service skills/approach
  • Highly motivated self-starter capable of working in a team environment
  • Personal qualities and style requirements that contribute to success in this role include high energy, enthusiasm, resilience, determination, proactiveness, relentlessness, and being highly driven.
  • Computer literacy including MS Office
