Product Implementation Manager

Purpose:          

Supports the Cox Business Region launch of new products and product enhancements for all product lines, all product managers, and all customer segments.

 

Major Tasks:

  • Coordinates cross functional product implementation projects and projects for strategic initiatives for Cox Business.

  • Provides support for all product lines, all product managers and all customer segments.

  • Contributes to and manages the region’s product roadmap, highlights resource gaps and communicates widely and transparently to all parts of the organization.

  • Partners with market managers to conduct regional kick-offs for new initiatives.

  • Organizes and leads recurring product implementation meetings and holds boundary partners accountable to commitments.

  • Organizes and leads bi-monthly product steering meeting with market leadership to prioritize roadmap focus and solve for resource gaps.

  • Exercises project management best practices.

  • Creates and manages project plan for product rollout/initiative.

  • Collaborates with region and center during product rollout to resolve issues during lab setup and testing, alpha testing, and customer beta trials.

  • Manages project plans and provides weekly updates to region and center leads on key projects

  • Facilitates the effort to define the end-to-end regional processes required to support new products and/or enhancements.

  • Facilitates the sales operations efforts/updates around product launch/initiative such as workflow/CRM, product catalog, and billing service codes.

  • Facilitates and works on migration and clean-up projects due to product enhancements and platform upgrades.


Qualifications:

Required

  • High school graduate, GED or equivalent work experience.

  • 7+ years of experience required in project management or MS/MBA and 5+ years’ experience in related field. 

  • Working knowledge of voice, data, and video services.

  • Strong presentation skills with excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point. 

  • Exceptional analytical skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership and collaborative skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams throughout organization.

  • Experience with development and implementation of product market trial plans

  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.

Preferred   
  • BS/BA degree.

  • PMP certification.

  • 2+ years of experience in a management role or leading cross functional projects preferred.

  • Cloud and managed services such as managed router; services provided remotely, including equipment monitoring/repair and PC help desk; and services hosted in the cloud, including messaging, web hosting, online backup and security.

  • Experience in telecommunications industry desired.
