The New Growth & Development Organization of Cox Communications is hiring a Manager in our Connected Health group, responsible for developing and managing critical elements of our new initiative strategy and commercialization.
The New Growth & Development organization focuses on identifying and analyzing new opportunities to achieve sustained and balanced growth across the enterprise. The organization works to answer "whats next" for Cox and our customers. We develop growth hypotheses and test them through 1) skunkworks, 2) investments in new businesses, 3) traditional R&D, 4) strategic partnerships, and 5) exploration of emerging businesses. We incubate growth opportunities across various adjacent business and technology sectors, including Healthcare, IoT, and Edge Cloud.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Help create and develop new initiative strategic direction and associated activities
  • Design and deliver GTM strategies to ensure product launch goals are met
  • Identify, secure, and manage new business development and channel partnerships
  • Develop business case, revenue goals, and operational plans for new business initiatives
  • Create the project launch strategy and associated processes and documentation
  • Develop customer success and support models for operational execution
  • Track customer insights and report business metrics attributed to the launch and operations
  • Communicate program objectives, priorities, and direction to all stakeholders
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal business owners, executives, boundary partners, and project teams

  • 3+ years in management consulting, corporate innovation/strategy, or product marketing
  • Excellent collaborator who works effectively with teams throughout the organization as well as with customers, partners, vendors, and industry experts
  • Operates independently to navigate tight deadlines and balance competing priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute tactically
  • Possesses intellectual horsepower, desire, and ability to learn new domains and technologies quickly
  • Hungers to make a difference. Willing to challenge conventional thinking and approaches
  • Expertise in one or more of the following: wearables, digital health, IoT
  • Experience with startups or corporate innovation/new growth initiative launches
  • MBA
