- Find interesting companies and projects: Build and continuously update a set of companies to meet and projects to follow based on qualitative and quantitative signals, market theses, and a network of key relationships
- Evaluate prospective partnerships and investments: Assist in diligence efforts for specific companies we are considering partnering with or investing in, or an entire category of startups we are evaluating
- Conduct due diligence, including financial assessments, analysis of go-to-market strategies, and competitive landscape
- Support business development function with external partners - targeting potential new business partnerships and alliances to work with Cox New Growth & Development teams on building adjacent growth opportunities.

Qualifications:
- Where permitted by applicable law, must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to be considered for this U.S. based job. (Reasonable accommodations for medical and religious objections will be considered.)
- 3-4+ years related experience in business development, corporate development, investment banking or consulting/strategy disciplines or combination thereof
- "Do-er" that can help translate ideas into actionable content for the organization to react to.
- Ability to learn new facts and concepts quickly and comprehensively, and to synthesize and communicate effectively
- Ability to operate independently to navigate tight deadlines, juggle a long list of competing priorities, and operate in a dynamic environment without compromising attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, in addition to excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong and demonstrable project/process management experience and large team facilitation skills
