The Cox Edge Sales Executive will develop new opportunities and grow existing accounts in the low latency Edge Cloud space. With the ability to leverage cutting edge infrastructure on global scale, the Cox Edge Sales Executive will be a key part of the team working to increase market share and drive revenue growth.

- Defines the account strategy for all customers and collaborates with the broader team to execute plans and tactics.
- Uncovers and cultivates new sales opportunities both with assigned customers and with prospective new customers, generating proposals and partnering with Customer Success for an exemplary customer experience
- Help design and implement sophisticated customer engagement and sales processes to maximize sales effectiveness across the organization
- Follow established Sales metrics and CRM reporting methodology
- Work with Marketing to develop and execute appropriate campaigns to drive awareness and interest with both new prospects and existing customers
- Collaborate with Executive Leaders to develop Strategic direction and Alignment of Sales and Product offerings
- Partner with product development team to ensure the voice of the customer is front and center as we evaluate new features and offerings for our customers as well as current product-set viability
- Demonstrate understanding of the COX EDGE products and their value proposition
- Participate in the sales cycle as the Senior business representative for key accounts.
- Travel to tradeshows and customer accounts


Minimum Requirements

- 7+ years of increasing sales leadership experience & responsibility
- SaaS/IaaS/PaaS solution sales experience required
- C-Level presence and executive credibility
- Strong experience selling against competitive pressure
- Proven prospecting, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Knowledge and experience using CRM packages to track leads and deal status
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Outstanding interpersonal and organizational skills
- Superior client relationship skills and ability to focus on multiple clients needs simultaneously
