The Cox in-house Video Team seeks a talented and highly-motivated Sr. Production Manager to help us tell these stories. We are looking for someone that will help us bring solutions to our clients in a positive and collaborative way. Someone that feels like a million bucks when completing a project ahead of schedule and under budget. Someone to help manage and execute breakthrough video concepts that move the needle in a wide range of areas from employment branding and automotive marketing to new spaces where Cox is investing like cleantech, healthcare and e-sports.

What Youll Do:

While this position requires keeping a lot of metaphoric plates in the air, were looking for someone who can stay calm, cool and collected with the support of a tight-knit team. Specifically, you will:

  • Work with our team of creative producers, directors and DPs to manage pre- and post- production of videos.
  • Maintain relationships with external vendors and production companies for video projects that we cant take on internally
  • Work side by side with a project manager to coordinate and manage the large amounts of work that flows through the department, which includes creating project schedules, managing producer/editor timelines and the teams departmental calendar, along with quarterly capacity planning
  • Listen well and collaborate closely with clients, while identifying and determining appropriate timelines and support needed to execute on their creative
  • Pre-production skills must include production timeline creation, budgeting, constructing shoot schedules, hiring crew, and creating call sheets
  • Track all budgets and coding on projects and work with finance to bill back to clients
  • Demonstrate the ability to effectively work on multiple assignments, activities or projects as required, while maintaining the bandwidth to guide the team
  • Manage our production studio, including scheduling and booking sessions
  • Work with project managers to identify and communicate with employee "talent" for shoots
  • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication, as well as time management skills
  • Proactively focus on key client relationships and maintain an easy to work with and flexible demeanor

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Where permitted by applicable law, must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to be considered for this U.S. based job. (Reasonable accommodations for medical and religious objections will be considered.)
  • Undergraduate degree in Video, Marketing, Communications, Business, Design or related field 5+ years of progressively complex video production experience, specifically in the areas of producing, logistics, and project management
  • Exceptional customer service and project management skills as well as impeccable engagement, follow-through and adaptability; detail and results-oriented with a collaborative mindset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and executive presence
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Mac OS Systems
  • Familiarity with online marketing platforms and social media
  • Demonstrable experience working with internal or external creative teams
  • Experience running medium-to-large scale projects in a matrixed environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in the Adobe suite of products, including Premiere, AfterEffects and Photoshop Marketing experience
  • Experience working in project management software, specifically Workfront
  • Experience in any of the following industries: automotive, telecom, cleantech, healthcare and/or esports
