What You’ll Do.

You will be directly responsible for developing new client partnerships which allow you to exceed your revenue targets.  In order to be successful, you will need to build and maintain an aggressive pipeline of new prospect accounts.  This position requires in-depth knowledge of sports sponsorships and how different forms of media and activations work together to fulfill your partnership obligations.  You will need to have an above average knowledge of social media, digital and traditional media as well as event activation.  It also means you will need excellent problem-solving skills and a creative mind so that you can develop and recommend the best solutions to meet client needs. New business development will be a strong focus.

Some of the key responsibilities you’ll tackle will include:

  • Identifying which categories of business are more likely to engage with sports sponsorships and build a strategic plan to develop new clients within these categories.
  • You’ll use your keen business sense to identify and qualify customers within these categories and prospects who will be ideal revenue generators that allow you to exceed your revenue goals.
  • You’ll demonstrate your high-level understanding of the sports sponsorship arena including the competitive landscape.     
  • You’ll be responsible for selling the entire portfolio of DawgNation assets which may include one or more of our website/app, programming, social channels and events.

The Qualifications.

You to have earned a high school diploma or equivalent experience, as well as college level education, preferably in Marketing, Advertising, or a related field.

Here are some other skills and strengths we’re looking for:

  • You’ll need a minimum of 3-years in sales experience
  • We’d prefer experience in one or more of following sales fields: sports sponsorships, event sponsorships and digital and/or traditional media
  • Bonus points if you have trusted advisor status with businesses who will be interested to hear about your new role and all it can do to help grow their business.
