The California Science Center, a not for profit organization, seeks a Marketing Coordinator to provides administrative support to the VP of Marketing and the Publications Manager and to coordinate a variety of marketing duties. This individual will be required to professionally interface with various stakeholders including the general public, corporate clients, marketing partners and internal staff. The Marketing Coordinator will play a vital role in keeping the marketing office running in an efficient manner and will have an important role in marketing the institution’s programs.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Four-year degree from an accredited college. Minimum 1-2 years’ marketing/communications experience preferred. Excellent computer skills including Internet navigation along with proficiency in Microsoft Office. Working knowledge of Macintosh operating systems. Familiarity with Quark Xpress, Adobe PhotoShop, Adobe Illustrator a plus. Strong written and oral skills. Ability to edit and copyright. Strong organization and interpersonal skills and the ability to multi-task are a must. Self-starter and the ability to work a 40-hour week and some weekends required.


SALARY: $2,166.67-$2,500.00 per month, plus excellent benefits.
