Marketing Associate - National Journal

The Atlantic Media Company, a rapidly growing media enterprise that publishes The Atlantic Monthly, National Journal, and Government Executive, seeks individuals to help support a fast-paced advertising business development team focused on expanding client relationships and cultivating new business.

Responsibilities Include:

Print Sales
•Provide administrative support to the sales team including: tracking advertisers in various publications; assembling media kits and maintaining advertising databases; fielding incoming requests from prospective and current advertisers; filing, faxing and special projects as needed.
•Participate in advertising staff meetings and complete follow-up activities and assignments.
•Work closely with the entire advertising department to meet monthly, quarterly and annual financial goals for all publications and on-line services.
•Will often be the key point of contact for clients, agencies and prospects according to the needs of the specific marketer
•Will execute special projects for specific clients and advertising team initiatives
•Manage the competitive database; run weekly, quarterly and yearly reports.
•Will have opportunities to participate in client visits

Web Sales
•Compile data for advertisers related to web traffic, site visits, users, etc.
•Compile and manage online competitive data base; running regular reports.
•Create reports for Online Sales Manager(s) on web sales and activities.
•Maintaining and facilitating ad production, utilizing online ad serving system in terms of insertion orders, ad placement and ad reporting.
•Managing online inventory spreadsheets.
•Will often be the key point of contact for online clients, agencies and third party ad servers according to the needs of the specific marketer.
•Work with Director of Digital Media on additional special projects as needed.
