Spend an exciting and informative summer in our department of Communications & Marketing. Provide administrative, media relations, and special project assistance for the Communications Office. Help draft press releases and electronic newsletter articles; build media lists using Bacons MediaSource software and print media directories. Interns also participate in weekly educational sessions and field tours to learn about historic preservation advocacy and community revitalization issues.

Requirements include: Junior, Senior or graduate student with 3.0 GPA or better; Communications related field of study (Communications, PR, Journalism, Marketing) preferred, but preservation/architecture/urban planning or related studies and strong writing experience will work.

Stipend of $3000 for June 4 (or sooner) through August 10.
