Major Trade Association is looking a Senior Designer as the Creative Services team leader with internal clients. The senior designer conceptualizes, develops and implements integrated design approaches for print and web ads, logos, brochures, reports, programs, newsletters and other collateral. The Senior Designer provides conceptual input on projects. Initiates and executes innovative visual approaches to single pieces or entire promotional campaigns, including print and web ads, brochures, reports, programs, logos and other collateral. Maintains vendor relationships, specs and bids. Acts as client liaison for production process, from file prep and submission to proof stage. Provides guidance to other ABA designers on design and layout issues as needed.

Requires BA in graphic or fine arts, visual communications (work experience may substitute) MFA a plus. 6 plus years' experience with design studio, ad agency or with publication showcasing strong graphic work. Portfolio must demonstrate advanced technical skill, imagination and the ability to take design projects from concept to production. Extensive experience with QuarkExpress, Dream weaver, Photoshop, Fireworks, Acrobat, PowerPoint and Illustrator required. Must be able to work in PC environment. Must have managed vendor relationships.
