Kiplinger Washington Editors seeks an Online Marketing Associate for developing and executing Kiplinger's online marketing and communications plan, including the management of Kiplinger's e-marketing and e-communications efforts across all online channels and products. The Associate will coordinate and maintain Kiplinger's e-marketing content, and implement e-marketing campaigns for all Kiplinger products and services.

Specific Roles and Responsibilities:
Develop and execute launch plans for Kiplinger's use of e-mail marketing, ad-word marketing, and other e-marketing techniques to achieve Kiplinger's sales goals.

Work with paid search vendor to improve keyword buys on Google, Yahoo, MSN.

Keep the schedule and execute all e-mail promotions for all Kiplinger products. Oversee Kiplinger's e-mail marketing vendor and lead Kiplinger in developing its e-mail marketing capability and use.

Support Kiplinger product managers in their development of e-marketing and e-communications plans.

Work with copywriters and other Kiplinger personnel to maximize the effectiveness of e-communications as retention, satisfaction, and sales tools.

Lead the development of Kiplinger's practices with regard to e-privacy, frequency, tone and manner of e-communications to prospects and customers, and compliance with laws and regulations governing the use of e-marketing techniques (e.g., CAN-SPAM).

Perform ongoing program forecasting, tracking, analysis, and evaluation of marketing and of the financial impact of programs.

Analyze clickstream, sales, and other data from campaigns to gain deep insights about customers; use the data to drive online marketing initiatives and customer-experience improvements.

Track and report e-commerce industry best practices, particularly within web advertising and e-mail marketing; identify, track, and evaluate third-party marketing tools and solutions.

Stay current on online marketing trends and make recommendations on future strategies and tactics.

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexibility and team orientation.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work with many different product managers.
- Ability to interact with all levels of management, function independently and as
part of a team and manage vendors.
- Ability to code in HTML a plus.
