Dow Jones & Co., publishers of The Wall Street Journal, is seeking a part-time News Assistant for our Washington D.C. News Bureau.

This position is responsible for general office support, telephone coverage, arranging travel schedules, and filing expenses. The News Assistant is also responsible for returning shipments of products.

This is a great entry-level position for someone who is interested in building a career in the publishing industry.

Requirements:
Some college education
1 to 2 years office experience
Publishing industry experience a plus

Skills:
MS Word proficient
Strong communication skills
Must be reliable and trustworthy
Strong organizational skills
Ability to work independently as well as in a team
Must be able to work quickly
