Advertising Sales Manager
SALES MANAGERSells Landscape Architecture Magazine (LAM) advertising and annual meeting exhibit booth space for American Society of Landscape Architects.In coordination with appropriate staff, develops promotional strategies and marketing materials for annual meeting exhibit booth, onsite program advertising, and LAM advertising sales.Regularly contacts current and potential clients to solicit sales and to meet sales goals. Keeps current on Society objectives and activities to identify potential exhibitors and advertisers; maintains a prospect list and makes periodic contact with prospects.Establishes rapport and develops/maintains credibility with new/existing accounts; analyzes/responds to exhibitor and advertising client needs.Serves as liaison to the annual meeting exhibit hall decorator on development of exhibitor kits, floor plans, and booth assignments; manages onsite booth sales and show set-up.Regularly reviews and updates annual meeting exhibitor web pages.Conducts client visits and represents the Society at trade shows and exhibits. BA degree, degree in marketing a plus; or equivalent training and experience. Proficiency in verbal, written, and interpersonal communication. Excellent organizational skills, good judgment, and attention to detail. Ability to balance heavy workload with short- and long-term project deadlines, address changing priorities, and work well under pressure.
