We currently have an opportunity in our Business Media division for an experienced Regional Sales Manager based on the east coast with a territory, north to south and west to Ohio, MI, etc.. Reporting to the Publisher, this position is responsible for advertising space and electronic media sales covering the east coast territory for two national business-to-business magazines.

Primary responsibilities include: * Expand existing advertising in assigned territory by developing and implementing strategic and tactical marketing programs that achieve client's marketing and advertising objectives. * Develop new business advertisers through prospecting. * Analyze and review competitive markets and its impact to advertisers. * Exhibit a "team work" approach within the organization through open communication and organizational management to assure that advertising schedules are properly documented and communicated. * Coordination of any and all mechanical film or digital representations of the advertising. * Perform timely advertising and revenue forecasting for designated territory. * Maintain and manage travel and entertainment budget. * Position requires extensive travel.

Qualifications: * Minimum of 5 years proven successful sales experience in a business-to-business environment. * Experience in managing large territories and demonstrated problem solving and negotiation skills. * MS Office - Word, Excel PowerPoint experience preferred. * Bachelors degree or equivalent. * Excellent oral and written communication skills.
