U.S. News & World Report has an immediate opening for an Online Ad Operations Coordinator in our Washington, DC office.

Responsibilities include:
• Coordinate the implementation of client advertising campaigns post-sale, working closely with Ad Operations, Marketing, Web Producers, Sales Staff, Finance and Clients as needed.
• Manage and prioritize trafficking and ad ops requests
• Work closely with Advertising Operations and Marketing to understand campaign objectives and limitations
• QA creative submissions and communicate with agencies/clients/vendors regarding creative specifications and compliance
•Assist with gathering creative elements for custom units and keeping development on schedule
• Setup online campaigns in DoubleClick and DoubleClick Sales Manager, including rich media, third party tags and HTML templates.
• Track ad placement and proof of campaign completion; proactively notify and report on delivery issues
• Track and analyze performance of campaigns and generate campaign performance reports
• Develop and maintain accurate advertising campaign tracking records
• Work with Clients and Ad Operations to optimize campaign performance as needed.
• Prepare numbers for weekly revenue forecasting reports, using campaign performance data
• Track and process vendor invoices with Finance; maintain files
• Provide excellent and prompt customer service as needed to resolve any campaign or billing issues.
• Respond to billing inquiries and prepare billable numbers monthly
• Research and keep abreast of trends related to online advertising
• Serve as backup to Online Sales planner for proposal and inventory requests
• Support Advertising Operations, Sales and Marketing with campaign updates, as needed

Skills/Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree and minimum 1 year experience in internet advertising, trafficking and sales support preferred.
• Proficiency in HTML; knowledge of JavaScript and Web server technology preferred; a solid knowledge of Web browsers.

This position requires a very high level of accuracy, keen attention to detail, and proficiency with basic office applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook and the Internet. Strong communication and customer service skills. Must be able to establish priorities, meet deadlines and work proactively with minimal supervision.
