The Communications Representative serves as the communications liaison for the Community and Political Affairs division to NAR vehicles for communicating to members, state associations and local boards. S/he advises on the strategic use of all on-line communications and manages division content and redesigns to the REALTOR Action Center and NAR website (Realtor.org). The Communications Representative strategically promotes division activities and calls for action; initiates and collaborates with internal stakeholders on web content ideas; coordinates with vendors on production and technical issues; and develops and monitors metrics for Action Center and provide summary reports. S/he also ensures trademark and copyright protection and adherence to NAR graphic standards for the division.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years experience in communications and/or public relations;
Proven track record developing and implementing strategic communications plans;
Proficiency in web production including skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript;
Experience managing production of published material;
Experience developing and implementing effective communications strategies for public policy, including print and on-line;
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, cultivating consensual processes with all relevant partners; and
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
