General Description:

Technology-centric Media Company has incredible opportunity for proactive sales person with great interpersonal and prospecting skills.

The primary responsibility is to aggressively pursue existing accounts and develop new business in print and digital media ad sales with traditional advertising and media buying agencies, as well as directly to clients. This position requires a proven track record of building relationships with national media agencies and clients and driving revenue through the development of long term relationships. Candidate must have demonstrated the ability to manage print and online negotiations and successfully close business.

Reporting to the Associate Publisher, this position will be responsible for accounts within the NY territory as well as parts of the middle Atlantic region.

Must have advanced knowledge of emerging media, shifting trends and how clients are allocating media plans.

Grow sales revenue and exceed revenue goals by securing national advertising clients.

Build and manage agency/client relationships.

Sell multi-platform advertising proposals and 360 marketing programs to national and traditional advertising agencies. Collaborate with all functional leaders of executive team.


3-5 years of national Print and Digital advertising media sales and experience.

BS/BA degree required.

Dedicated and driven work ethic, excellent writing skills, comfortable making presentations to decision makers, outstanding computer skills, approximately 30% travel.
