Responsibilities: The Supervising Editor will be responsible for the development and project management of student and teacher materials forf READ 180 Next Generation, an Intervention Curriculum for students reading below proficiency.

Responsibilities include:
Develop specs, writing guidelines, and procedures
Assign and supervise work of outside developers
Review and be accountable for manuscript accuracy and effectiveness in meeting the goals of the project
Oversee the development of specific content for READ 180, such as word lists, definitions, and connected text of various types of print and software material
Oversee the preparation of editorial assets for use in technology components
Train and manage senior editors who will assist in these processes

Qualifications: At least 3 years experience in managing English Language Arts content development
Excellent writing and editing skills
Efficient project-management skills and systems
Interest in working in a high-paced, deadline-driven environment
Effective communication skills
Elementary, middle, or high school teaching experience preferred
