HarperCollins is looking an Account Manager for Baker & Taylor and Brodart to manage and develop sales outreach to school, library and educational wholesale accounts in liaison with the school and library marketing group.

Key Accountabilities:
Work in liaison with S&L marketing to get Leveling and Accelerated Reader for all appropriate titles
Determine titles/programs to advertise; coordinate all advertising for select school/library/educational wholesale accounts
Involvement in HarperCollinsTeacher/Librarian blog/site
Develop trade books with tie-in curriculum program
Serve as EBMA Liaison and Website Facilitator
New Product Development (ICR box sets, etc.)
Responsible for State-by-State funding/grant tracking
Attend and participate in specific state conventions (Eg NSSCA - National School Supply Association)
School Bid Business
Work with premium sales to go after state-by-state programs
School/Library Newsletter
Work with adult Academic Marketing Group on possible course adoption teen titles
Regular Sales Reporting for School and Library Channel
Conduct Trend Analysis


College degree required
3-5 years sales or marketing experience, preferably within the publishing industry in the school and library channel
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present ideas and information clearly
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail and follow up
Strong computer and analytical skills necessary. Advanced proficiency in MS office.
