As part of the Creative Services team, this individual will write and edit copy for online ads and print materials to promote all supported Medscape programs, as well as the Medscape from WebMD brand and affiliates. Promotional materials are used to help drive site traffic, as well as increase membership.

Requirements and responsibilities include:
' Writing/editing effective copy targeted to a physician audience
' Adapting copy to suit various 'ad' formats, including but not limited to:
Online graphic banner ads (multiple sizes), printed postcards and handouts, email communications, text ads
' Supporting both educational and promotional programs on Medscape.com
' Ability to comprehend clinical information and programs in order to write promotional material (extensive science background not required)
' Collaborate with graphic designers
' Work with project managers from other departments on client ad revisions
' Troubleshoot/interface with other departments'eg, Editorial, Production'as necessary
' Strong personal organization skills
Experience - External:
Strong writing skills and experience are essential. At least 5 years of writing, editing and/or marketing experience necessary. Background or familiarity with the healthcare or pharmaceuticals industry, CME, and/or physician audience a major plus.
