The Knot, Inc. is looking for an editorial assistant and community coordinator for WeddingChannel.com to work with an amazingly talented team of writers and producers and create fun, innovative and smart content for its website. The editorial assistant and community coordinator will provide general editorial support to the websites editorial team including writing and researching stories as well as gathering user-generated content, managing social media branding and PR contacts, creating weekly newsletters, managing relationships with our brides in our online communities and handling daily and weekly site maintenance and updates using our content management system.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with the following attributes:


Excellent writing and communication skills
Excellent organizational skills
The ability to multi-task
Attention to detail and self-motivation
Problem-solving skills

A B.A. in writing or communications is expected. Experience working at a website and working knowledge of PhotoShop and HTML is a plus.
