OVERALL SUMMARY

This position provides overall strategic and marketing support to the HBO.com group by developing promotional and social initiatives that drive awareness.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop innovative marketing, promotional & social initiatives to drive awareness of and engagement with HBO.com using Email, SEM, On-Air and Grassroots Promotion.

Partner with the HBO.com creative and editorial teams to develop fan-centric content and promotions.

Manage the implementation of social initiatives on behalf of individual HBO properties including creating & updating multiple Facebook and Twitter profiles.

Manage the needs of internal site and social clients such as the HBO Shop, Programming, Off-Channel Marketing & Home Entertainment including trafficking and reporting using Omnitures Campaign Tracking.

Execute Search Engine Marketing campaigns including tactical strategy, keyword & creative development reporting and optimization.

Manage the creation of SEO metadata and coordinate optimizations with the production team.

Support the Community Manager in the cultivation of conversations around individual show properties on HBO.com.

Partner with the Web Analytics Team to report on site and community performance using Omnitures Site Catalyst, Discover and Internal reporting tools.

Oversee a Marketing Coordinator.

REQUIREMENTS

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years experience in digital marketing at an agency or publisher preferably in an Account Management role.

Background in consumer entertainment marketing and/or media brands a plus.

Must have successfully managed social media presences (Facebook Fan Pages, Twitter Profiles) for a major brand.

Excellent interactive project management and creative production skills.

Advanced understanding of website and digital marketing analytics including command of Omniture Site Catalyst.

Exceptional communication and relationship management skills deep cross functional collaboration is required.

Strong online media and/or online sales experience.

Expert knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

Bachelors degree required.
