O, The Oprah Magazine Web Editor The Web Editor is responsible for day-to-day programming of the magazine's presence on Oprah.com and social networks.Duties include:1. Produce current magazine issues on Oprah.com: write web-friendly display and SEO copy, review pages in Interwoven TeamSite and OWN web systems2. Write/edit promotional copy for landing pages and newsletters and track successes. 3. Attend magazine ideas meetings and liaise with print editors to generate web extras4. Enliven and grow the magazine's social media presence 5. Produce magazine sweepstakes by working with print editors, legal and the Hearst Digital marketing department 6. Track metrics, utilizing Omniture and other relevant tools, and incorporate learnings into all future programming7. Support the Oprah.com senior staff; general administrative duties, research, and writingMinimum experience: 2-3 years in online editorial and/or marketingIdeal requirements-Strong promotional copywriting skills (homepage or cover-line writing, a plus)-Interwoven TeamSite or comparable CMS experience-SEO savvy-Understanding of metrics reporting and analysis -Highly organizedDue to high volume, only candidates of interest will be contacted.
