Project ManagerTracking Code630Job DescriptionThe Hearst Sales & Marketing Project Manager interfaces both with clients and internally (with Sales, Marketing, Design, Production and Content at Hearst Digital Media) to ensure that all elements of integrated advertising campaigns launch, deliver and achieve the clients performance goals.He/She participates in the pre-sale process to assist and inform custom campaign elements in the pitch phase, and to take over ownership of implementation, delivery and performance reporting in the post-sale phase.The Sales & Marketing Project Manager manages the project plan and cross-functional resources for the custom integrated elements of campaigns, assuring proper implementation according to the I/O and tracks performance over time, analyzing, optimizing and providing reporting to the client. The Project Manager is the Hearst Sales & Marketing operational point of contact for the custom campaign elements once the campaign is sold. Job Requirements: * Responsible for all activities, post-sale, that relate to integrated/custom campaign elements * For all custom campaigns, work with sales and marketing pre-sale to determine feasibility of custom work and post-sale to manage project to completion * Is the point of contact for custom elements in post-sale: communicates with client/agency to communicate what is needed, when, from them and keeps them apprised of launch plan; funnels approvals through client as required * Arranges internal kick off call to assure that all parties are clear on client goals and deliverables * Responsible for launching custom program elements on-time, and on-budget * Responsible for managing client-caused delays (such as late asset delivery or late approvals) by understanding if/when these delays will endanger launch date or budget, and communicating back with manager and project team to develop response plan. * Communicate with ad operations contact to ensure there is clarity on deliverables for ad ops (trafficking, reporting, custom needs such as URLs or cobrand creative assets, etc) * Provide and analyze campaign performance reporting for sales according to agreed upon reporting schedules. * Communicate with Editorial, Audience Development and Manager to flag under-performing custom campaign elements; oversee plan to boost performance and ensure plan is executed.Job LocationNew York, NY, US.Position TypeFull-Time/RegularPlease send your resume and cover letter including salary requirements.
