Job Description:

The Digital Media Sales Planner will be responsible for working with the sales team as well interacting with other HDM departments including Ad Operations, Project Management and Marketing. Specific Duties and Areas of Responsibility include but are not limited to:
- Create efficient media plans via MS Excel per specific requirements of RFPs & ensure on time delivery to agency client

Recommend media mix (display, video, custom innovations, etc.) and pricing as appropriate to client budget/goals.
Understand relevant inventory and pricing options per campaign objectives with a focus on maximizing CPM and yield.
Ability to understand client objectives and how they translate into media strategies.
Knowledge of how to obtain the best advertising rates, adjust media schedules in response to the latest audience figures, manage budgets and monitor and update internal project team on the effectiveness of campaigns.
Maintain a deep understanding of company inventory across all verticals.

- Input media proposals into various interfaces: DSM (HDMs inventory management system), Media Visor (external), Atlas (external), etc.
- Develop presentations and sponsorship concepts by working with the marketing team that are designed to meet internal & external needs.
- Maintain awareness of campaign performance analyses and optimizations as it pertains to new and ongoing RFP responses.
- Oversee media program results analysis and relay/help translate information into observations/lessons learned for internal project team.
- Develop & review insertion orders vs. DSM; ensure invoices are issued correctly & paid on time.
- Analyze competitive data.
- Assist the Sales Team in managing the sales process end to end from prospecting, tracking competitors, campaign implementation (in conjunction with Ad Operations and Marketing) through post campaign analysis.
Qualifications/Key Requirements

1+ years in media ad sales or advertising agency experience. Interactive experience required.
Must be a problem solver and creative thinker able to develop solutions based on customer needs.
Must be proficient in developing client presentations.
Must have excellent communication skills in all environments: email, phone and face to face.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Dart Sales Manager
