Yahoo! is seeking a creative and versatile videographer for recruiting coverage at This position requires travel to camps, combines, all-star games and high school games, shooting video of top prospects and producing and editing highlight and interview video for The position involves extensive travel around the country. This candidate will need strong communication skills and a sense of teamwork, as he/she will be interacting with analysts on a daily basis to provide video content and in some cases, work with the analysts to do voice-over highlight packages to accompany the analysts stories. Candidates should have a solid understanding of sports, strong writing skills, the ability to work with tight deadlines and knowledge of Final Cut Pro.

Job Responsibilities:

Produce highlight and interview packages of top prospects around the country.
Build strong relationships and maintain regular communication with Yahoo! Sports/Rivals.comeditors and writers/analysts.
Develop and pitch video ideas to Yahoo! Sports/ writers/analysts and editors.
Take the lead in advancing Rivals.coms video to the next level, keeping it innovative and ahead of the curve.

Minimum Job Qualifications:

College degree
One year shooting for television broadcasts or extensive work for a college video production program.
Knowledge of Final Cut Pro
Video editing experience
Understand the Yahoo! Sports/ audience, and its interests.
Ability to travel approximately 100 days/year.
