Oxford University Press is seeking an Online Editor to oversee its growing collection of research sites featuring authoritative scholarship from academics throughout the world. This role will work primarily with Oxford Bibliographies Online and Oxford Handbooks Online, with additional sites being added in the future. The Online Editor will propose and oversee functionality enhancements, champion products through site development and updates, maintain update schedules across several sites, as well as manage the content updating program in coordination with various internal departments. A key aspect of the position will entail reviewing and editing XML within various content management systems and conducting site reviews on staging. We are looking for candidates with extensive experience in online publishing, including experience working with XML, metadata, and content management systems.
