JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Manage all top line and detailed analyses/ratings reporting, audience profiling, presentations and highlights covering Oxygen and its competitors
  • Partner with VP and direct report to produce sales estimates, track delivery and craft compelling stories about the Oxygen audience using a variety of data sources
  • Leverage syndicated and custom ROI/ad effectiveness research methods to highlight the marketer value of advertising/sponsorships on Oxygen
  • Work closely with Ad Sales, Marketing and Pricing/Finance
  • Act as point person with Ad Sales in the production of sales presentations and one-sheets
  • Partner with Marketing in the production of upfront materials and trade campaigns
  • Manage, mentor and train Research Managers and Analysts


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Minimum of 6-8 years experience in media research with previous experience in network or cable or with an agency/supplier working with media clients
  • Must have experience working with Nielsen audience data, and systems (NPower, Powerplay, Galaxy Explorer, IAG and MarketBreaks), MRI and/or Simmons
  • Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Bachelor's degree required

DESIRED CHARACTERISTICS:


  • Team player with ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects
  • Knowledge of Internet/digital ratings a significant plus
  • Exposure to (or familiarity with) Audience Watch and/or Lake 5 a definite plus
  • Knowledge or exposure to primary research also highly desirable, including experience writing surveys and analyzing crosstabs
