Overview:
The Program/Editorial Manager ensures timely and accurate execution of continuing education, editorial, and promotional programs. The position reports to the CEO, the Director of Medical Education, and the Managing Editor. The Program/Editorial Manager will have the opportunity to lead select projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Program/Editorial Manager provides leadership, oversight and support to ensure that multiple programs move forward smoothly and simultaneously. This involves: program planning; creation and management of timelines; author, client and vendor contact; identifying resources; ensuring information is shared with all members of the program team; monitoring and achieving program milestones; assembling and formatting materials for compliance review, client submission, and production.

The Program/Editorial Manager will interact with all members of the internal team (including: editorial, graphics, sales/marketing, and finance) as well as external customers (physicians and healthcare professionals), clients, and vendors (including meeting site vendors, printers, mailers, etc.).

Education:
College degree desirable. If no degree, must have the language skills expected in a polished and professional college graduate.

Minimum Experience:
* 4 years full-time work experience in a relevant field. (PLEASE NOTE: This is NOT an entry level position. Recent graduates will not be considered. Internships will not be counted as work experience.)
* 2 years experience in a publishing, marketing, or meetings management milieu, preferably in healthcare.
* 1 year in a position that required management of multiple programs and timelines.

Minimum Skills
* Able to lead internal team/status meetings
* Able to prepare materials for internal and external meetings and events, including agendas, presentations, documents, notes, etc. Must be able to prepare PowerPoint and Keynote pesentations.
* Facility with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and use of automated program management tools and database applications.
* Able use Web and social media applications for business marketing

* Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.

* Must be able to travel locally and within the USA (less than 10% of time)
* Must be proactive, creative problem-solver
