Media Sales, Local Corporate Marketing
An excellent opportunity is available for an experience Advertising Sales professional to raise revenue from advertising agencies and corporations and not for profit institutions for WNET program specific sponsorships, educational outreach, events and local spot sales. The Salesperson will manage an active list of accounts to secure renewals and increase revenue totals, leveraging expertise and relationships in corporations and ad agencies to negotiate and secure corporate media dollars for advertising and sponsorships that promote corporate campaigns and agendas.The successful candidate will be a team player with a sales record of success demonstrating ability to develop and sell clients. In addition, candidates must have:BA/BS degree in Marketing, Advertising, or PR or equivalent work experience;At least 3 years experience in media sales or selling corporate sponsorships;Experience applying Nielsen, Scarborough data and other resources to make an effective case for public television to align with corporate marketing goals;Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills and familiarity with Powerpoint and Excel.To apply candidates should send resume and cover letter including salary requirements.
