ROLE PURPOSE:

A.E. will work closely with the Director of Travel & Tourism to utilize the assets of the Golf Channel and NBC Sports Group to generate on-air revenue and integrated platform (on-air and online) revenue in the Travel & Tourism category.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

    - Achieve target revenue goals as defined by management
    - Create revenue in assigned territory for new accounts and grow existing business in the travel and tourism category for the Golf Channel and properties of the NBC Sports Group
    - Development of new business is a core focus/responsibility of this position
    - Create and cultivate relationships with key decision makers at travel & leisure companies, state and local tourism boards, media agencies and sports marketing companies
    - Act as liaison for the NBC Sports Group identifying corporate opportunities within the travel category
    - Work closely with Marketing Solutions, Digital and on air Pricing & Planning teams to develop and close customer platforms utilizing Golf Channel/NBC Sports group assets


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

    - Experience in Travel & Tourism Industry
    - Bachelors Degree
    - 5+ years advertising sales experience
    - Experience in a deadline-driven environment
    - Proficiency in Power Point, Excel, Word
    - Willingness/Ability to travel (high volume)
