HarperCollins seeks an Online Marketing Manager to create digital marketing strategies and campaigns for frontlist paperback originals and reprints, and print and eBook backlist. Working closely with the Harper Perennial and Harper paperbacks Executive Director and Senior Director of Marketing, the Digital Marketing Manager will execute digital initiatives for these imprints. This position will also work with the Sr. Digital Marketing Manager for Harper and Ecco books on special initiatives as assigned.

Job Responsibilities include:
- Execute digital initiatives, including advertising (Facebook, Search, Blog Ads), social media campaigns, live interactive events, app development, in app advertising, designing facebook pages, etc
- Identify opportunities for eBook promotions, execute and track results
- Work with the eBook sales team to secure placement and promotions at the e-retailers
- Coordinate with digital ad agency and any additional outside firms on advertising and large-scale promotions
- Develop relationships with third party sites to promote our books and branding initiatives
- Coordinate with the digital marketing group on digital developments and opportunities
- Maintain and update the landing page and troubleshoot any issues on
- Build landing pages for books and promotions, both on the web and on facebook
- Write and track the Harper Perennial newsletter and working with other company newsletters

Job requirements:
- 3 years consumer marketing experience, preferably in publishing
- 2 years digital marketing experience
- Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign
- Strong knowledge of various online marketing channels and tactics including social media, paid search, SEO optimization, mobile, video, apps, web analytics systems
- Experience with eBooks a plus
