It Books, an imprint of HarperCollins Publishers, seeks a Marketing Manager to join the marketing department specializing in books by celebrities and high-profile authors and areas including entertainment, pop culture, music, television and film tie-ins, style, fashion, sports as well as heavily illustrated art and design books. Candidate must be forward-thinking and able to implement both traditional and non-traditional marketing initiatives into full print and digital campaigns.

Specific Responsibilities:
Conceive and execute the marketing campaigns of eight to twelve hardcovers, paperbacks originals, paperback reprints and ebooks each season.
Work closely with the director of marketing and senior online marketing manager to increase It Bookss online presence as well as that of our books and authors through our website, various social media platforms and new media such as enhanced ebooks and apps.
Secure title specific as well as imprint-wide cross promotional partnerships with third party brands and companies.

Must possess college degree or equivalent work experience.
Must have at least 5 years of consumer marketing experience in book publishing or media with relatable marketing experience.
Strong interest in and knowledge of pop culture.
Experience in web design and HTML.
Experience using social networking websites (such as Facebook and Twitter) as a marketing and sales tool, as well as implementing Web 2.0 ideas such as apps, wikis, blogs, podcasts, crowd sourcing, etc. to promote the It Books brand as well as our books and authors.
Experience marketing ebooks to consumers and a knowledge of ebook devices and retail channels.
