Your tasks
The Knopf Doubleday Publishing Group is seeking a Marketing Manager to join the marketing team that supports the Doubleday imprint.

This position manages creative campaigns that market our books internally, to the trade, and to consumers. The Manager also:

- Coordinates creation, implementation, and execution of assigned marketing campaigns ensuring all aspects of the campaign are completed successfully and on time
- Works closely with sales staff to execute account-specific programs which may include content development, creation of flyers, brochures, and special mailings
- Compiles and communicates marketing plans to editors, authors, and agents
- Cultivates relationships with on and offline partners to leverage exposure for our books
- Manages relationships with freelancers who develop websites for us, and vendors who are hired for specific projects
- Contributes content to e-newsletters and social networking vehicles we use to promote our books

Our requirements
This position requires a bachelor?s degree and a minimum of three years of marketing experience with at least one year of publishing industry experience. Candidates must demonstrate initiative and ingenuity in finding vehicles for meeting personal, departmental and company goals. The ideal candidate is confident, organized and enthusiastic, possesses strong communication skills, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
