Oxygen, a division of NBC Universal, is looking for a dynamic TV researcher to play a key role in the program research team. This position mainly supports management, programming, development, scheduling, press and publicity, marketing and pricing/finance.


- Manage top line and detailed analyses/ratings reporting, audience profiling, and highlights covering Oxygen and its competitors
- Assist in presentation generation covering Oxygen, competitors, and the overall cable landscape
- Manager oversight and training of senior research analyst
- Produce key acquisition estimates
- Be a contributing member and thought leader within the Oxygen organization


- Minimum of 5 years experience in media research with previous experience in network or cable or with an agency or supplier
- Minimum of 5 years experience working with Nielsen audience data, and systems including NPower, Galaxy Explorer, Arianna, and MarketBreaks
- Minimum of 5 years experience (or demonstrated expertise) in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Bachelor's degree
- In-depth understanding of TV programming, program estimation, and scheduling as well as strong familiarity with the impact of DVR measurement on TV ratings

- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of Internet/digital ratings and metrics
- Familiarity with syndicated consumer databases and crosstabbing software, including Simmons BehaviorGraphics and MRI
- Familiarity with IAG and Audience Watch
