Client Services Associate, Sponsorship
The Client Services Associate is responsible for overseeing the management of relationships with all national corporate sponsors (10+ clients). This person is a key member of the Sponsorship Sales Department that sells and services multi-platform national Sponsorships from the Americas Test Kitchen brand. He/She will serve as a strategic partner for clients, developing and executing plans to maximize the benefits of their Sponsorship and problem solving & managing client related issues as they arise.
The Client Services Associate is responsible for the execution of all elements of national Sponsorships packages and serves as the liaison between corporate clients, outside vendors and all relevant departments within Americas Test Kitchen. In this role, the Associate must be strong in strategic & independent thinking, be a self-starter, have good problem solving skills as well as exercise good judgment. The Associate will also stay informed about Sponsorship clients and their business activities.
He/She should have experience with trafficking (scheduling, forwarding) broadcast media elements such as TV, Radio & Online. Proficiency in OpenX, Tumblr, and social media sites such as Facebook & Twitter would be helpful.
The Client Services Associate is responsible for maintaining expenses related to added value programs (events, online, custom content, social media, etc.). He/She will also manage programs to ensure proper planning and development goes into each element and that all work stays consistent with contracts and budget. He/she will perform weekly check-ins with clients, troubleshoot issues and maintain overall client satisfaction.
The Client Services Associate will coordinate marketing collateral and promotional activity for the Sponsorship Sales department. He/She will proactively work to promote sales through marketing activities and work with Director of Sponsorship Sales to create marketing pieces and programs that will support our growing sales avenues. (i.e. online media kit, e-newsletter, case studies, targeted promotions, prospect mailings, prospect events)
The Client Services Associate will support the Director of Sponsorship Sales in new business development and prospecting, including maintaining database in and Comp List, and prospect research via The List Online and other resources. The Client Services Associate will at times make calls to prospects and/or accompany Director of Sponsorship Sales to help present added-value and other marketing components to clients in a sales environment.
He/She will represent Americas Test Kitchen and Sponsorship Sales Department, as needed at trade shows, special events, and kitchen/set tours.
He/She will coordinate research and provide regular reports to support Sponsorship Sales. He/She will maintain all sales reporting including, but not limited to, historical data, travel and expense budget, promotion budget and added-value expenses.
The Client Services Associate should have experience with research reports such as: Nielsen and TRAC Media, Google Analytics, MRI and other reports.
He/She will support the Retail Sales & Marketing Director with Book Expo America & the Fall Retail Book Tour. Such administrative tasks would include, but are not limited to: coordinating Book Expo America, from arranging booth space set-up, shipping books to the show and attending the annual conference. Supporting the Fall Retail Book Tour by creating & executing all invites and tracking attendance. Create & organizing bi-monthly e-newsletters & other misc. tasks when needed.
He/she will support and work with Americas Test Kitchens publicist. He/She will maintain the publicists media list, coordinate press releases and mailings and work with ATKs mail house to send out books internally & externally when needed.
He/She will work with internal departments and outside vendors as applicable and perform other related responsibilities as assigned.


oExcellent project management skills required.
oMust have extremely strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
oCommunicating clearly on the phone and in email is essential.
oStrong interpersonal skills are important to the position since this position will interact with multiple clients, ad agencies, vendors & internal departments.
oDemonstrated ability to communicate brand attributes successfully in the marketplace.
oDemonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel to organize, maintain, and report on data. As well as proficiency with various Macintosh platforms.
oFamiliarity with research tools such as MRI, Nielsen, TRAC Media, Scarborough & others.
oFamiliarity with public broadcasting (PBS, NPR) ideal
oBudget proficiency plan, track, and maintain expenses at no more than budget.
oAbility to work with equal success whether operating as an individual or as part of a team.
oDemonstrated organizational skills & the ability to multi-task.
oMust be able to react quickly to change.
oAbility for overnight travel (10-15%)

oBS/BA or equivalent with degree in marketing or related field required.
oMinimum 3 to 5 years experience in related fields (advertising, media, agency work, client relationships, business, marketing) is required.
