Inside Network, a division of WebMediaBrands (NASDAQ: WEBM), is looking for a Lead Writer to join our editorial team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced journalist to report and write content that appears on the Inside Network sites related to mobile apps and mobile apps ecosystem. This position will be based out of our San Francisco office.

The Lead Writer of Inside Mobile Apps is responsible for reporting, writing and editing all content that appears on Inside Network sites related to mobile apps and mobile app ecosystems. The Lead Writer should be interested in and have familiarity with major mobile application platforms and ecosystems, including primarily iOS and Android, and to a lesser extent, Blackberry, Windows, and others. The type of content that the lead writer is responsible for producing -- either through their own reporting or via coverage coordinated with staff writers and freelancers -- ranges from industry analysis (on monetization, distribution, and developer issues in general), to developer interviews, industry news, financial reporting, and broader feature pieces on topics that impact developers and investors in the mobile apps industry. The Lead Writer is also responsible for representing the blog at all relevant industry events and will be called on to speak publicly at certain events.
