Production Manager, Digital

Responsible for overseeing the logistics, production and contract management for Food Network, Cooking Channel and Food.coms digital video and flat content, the Production Manager traffics and manages the flow of deliverables through all phases of production. The Production Manager is a key partner in the development, management and execution of the digital groups content and oversees a variety of project-management duties including: contract management, scheduling, tracking, budgeting. This position also works with the Executive Producer and Editorial team to identify best-case scheduling and promotional opportunities within each website for finished video.

Basic Qualifications:

- Minimum 4 years experience with scheduling, budget-development and tracking, preferably in a television network or digital agency-like environment.

- Must have proficient computer skills, including Outlook, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

- Experience with Content Management Systems a major plus.

- Must have strong administrative and organizational skills.

- Must be effective under aggressive timelines and high-pressure situations.

- Understanding of common Television and Digital formats, terminologies and practices a major plus.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee and manage all aspects of related budgets, contracts/deal memos, production details, and final delivery of products for both flat and video content, in partnership with Executive Producer and Editorial Director, for both original and repurposed video.

- Participate in identifying and distributing requirements to internal and external contacts and ensure quality of delivered content.

- Manage and maintain annual multi-million dollar video and flat-content operating budgets for all Food category brands.

- Manage and maintain master list of video and flat content projects to keep teams apprised of project status while in various stages of completion.

- Serve as main liaison between multiple internal departments (business affairs, video operations etc), external vendors, and content and video teams.

- Manage flow of videos through various systems, including creating records and recording restrictions in the databases, ordering & tracking completion of metadata and images, and notifying the appropriate contacts once videos are ready for scheduling to sites.

- Work with various site teams to identify best-case placement and promotion of scheduled assets once published.
