Position Description:


Macmillan Childrens Publishing Group is looking for an Assistant Digital Marketing Manager to join our childrens digital marketing team.



Major Responsibilities:




  • Assist with management and execution of all digital marketing initiatives and ensure promotional timelines and deadlines are met
  • Help create and implement strategies to drive digital traffic, increase online visibility, and create brand awareness
  • Create book trailers including writing scripts and working with production companies to execute finished product
  • Manage and update company blog and website including content and copy
  • Contribute content to e-newsletters, title-specific websites and social networking vehicles to promote our books
  • Stay up-to-date on new digital trends and share best practices internally

Required Skills / Knowledge:




  • Familiarity with web editing and design software such as Basic HTML, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, and InDesign
  • An understanding of the basics of web design and video editing
  • Familiarity with social networking marketing trends
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative department
  • Excellent communication, copy writing, and presentation skills
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills


Experience Needed:




  • 3-5 years digital marketing experience
  • Background in childrens publishing preferred
