Overview The Media team at the Ad Council works with the media industry across all categories including television, radio, outdoor, print and interactive at both the national and local level to promote and secure support for our docket of approximately 50 public service campaigns. The Media Coordinator will work with all members of the media team to assist in a variety of initiatives and partnerships from a logistical and administrative aspect. Core Job Responsibilities: Manage local market and field team requests Assist in finalizing campaign information for outreach efforts Assist with market 100+ media outlet requests and inquiries Manage internal database requests Work with national account directors on researching media partner programming and content for co-branded partnership consideration Handle quarterly steering committee meeting planning and logistics Assist with contact database maintenance and list requests Work with Campaign teams and Creative Services department on digital asset (i.e. magazine publisher portal uploads, radio spot files, etc.) Preparation of media summary documents or presentations for internal and external meetings Manage, maintain, and devise strategies as to organizing multiple departmental documents and spreadsheets on shared drive Maintain monthly department calendar Provide administrative department support Requirements: Bachelors degree and applicable work experience including internships preferred (in the fields of advertising, media or marketing) Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) General knowledge of the advertising and media industry preferred Strong Excel skills; experience with PowerPoint preferredPlease submit a resume and cover letter with salary requirements and availability to http://www.adcouncil.org/Working-With-Us/Careers.
