Essential Job Functions:

Scheduling for & assisting the Executive Director
Heavy data entry
Answer main office phone line and direct calls (staff of 9)
Assist with basic upkeep of office & ordering of supplies
Assisting at on-site events as needed, including International Emmy World Television Festival Weekend and the International Emmy Awards Gala
Handle all administrative duties related to membership, including:
- heavy interaction with Bookkeeper to coordinate invoices and handle outstanding payments
- daily updating & maintenance of Filemaker database & all related membership details within
- daily updating & maintenance of Excel spreadsheets tracking member details
- heavy email correspondence
- special projects as assigned (ex. creating spreadsheets and charts analyzing membership trends, research of industry figures by country, etc)
- printing projects, shipping and mailings
- prepare materials for quarterly Nominating Committee Meetings
- updating member details on website (no web or design skills needed)


The ideal candidate should:

be both proactive, and able to take direction
be organized and able to multi-task
have excellent attention to detail
have excellent phone demeanor
have excellent writing skills
have excellent computer skills and be extremely comfortable with Excel
have a positive, upbeat attitude and desire to learn about the international television industry

A background or interest in television and international affairs is helpful. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in the business side of television, non-profit management, membership management, bookkeeping, and/or administration.

Cultural sensitivity is necessary and knowledge of additional languages is a plus. College degree required. This position is junior level, recent college graduates welcome to apply.
