JOB DESCRIPTION:

Telemundo Network Groups local O&O station, KXTX-Telemundo 39 has a rare opportunity in the nations 6th largest Spanish language DMA for a detailed oriented, multi skilled full-time Technical Director for live news and entertainment production serving the KXTX local news department.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Primary job responsibilities include switching and directing live news and entertainment programming. Additional duties will include, but are not limited to, other production related job functions within our news operation advanced switcher configuration/setup, CG and playback server operation, shot & effects composition, studio crew direction and training.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

- Minimum 3-5 years experience as news TD or Director at a previous small to mid-market TV station
- Experience with ROSS Overdrive Production Automation or similar a plus
- Successful candidates must be highly creative and possess a solid knowledge and skill set base within all areas of news production: Audio, CG, server playback, robotic camera operation, NRCS
- Must be bilingual Spanish/English
- Extensive digital media knowledge.
