International magazine/digital content company has an immediate opening for a Assistant Business Manager in our New York office to assist in the budgeting, planning and reporting efforts on several of its titles. This position will work hand-in-hand with the advertising, editorial, production, distribution, accounting and human resources staff in updating the P&L estimates and preparing variance analyses that identify opportunities and areas where corrective action is necessary. Prepare and update each publication budget and reforecast. Work as a liaison among different departments to help establish the best procedures and systems to enhance cost structures and profitability.

Strong analytical, accounting and communications skills required. A degree in accounting, finance or related degree required. Publishing experience is strongly preferred.

Proficient in Microsoft office.
