Law Journal Press publishes over 150 treatises on a broad range of legal topics. Written by leading experts and updated regularly, LJP loose leaf treatises offer definitive information on the legal and business issues, including both insightful analysis and practitioner-oriented guidance.

We are seeking a Legal Book Editor to interact with and oversee authors in the editing and production of publications. The job requires reviewing authors' manuscripts for substance, style and clarity of writing. Because our books are loose leaf and need to be updated, the candidate needs to become extremely familiar with each book in order to properly "slot" material submitted by authors.

The ideal candidate will have a JD degree as well as a background editing and improving manuscript submitted for publication in legal treatises. Only candidates with at least one year of law book editing experience will be considered.
