This key producer position will execute a high volume of promotions for movies, series, ad sales projects, and navigational elements. This is a great reel-building opportunity for an enthusiastic team player with "can do" attitude. This role requires a strong conceptual thinker with promo writing, producing and FinalCut skills. The Writer/Producer/Editor will report to the Creative Director


  • Screen movies, series and special content in order to conceptualize and write branded promo copy
  • Produce and edit promos on Final Cut Pro system
  • Tagging and outputting promos for delivery and upload
  • Collaborate with Creative Director to brainstorm and script ideas and concepts, as needed
  • Work alongside designers and production team to create all content
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned


  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • 2-3 years’ experience in television marketing, video editing or similar
  • Prior experience editing with Final Cut Pro


  • Interested candidate must submit a resume/CV
  • Willingness to travel and work overtime, and on weekends with short notice
  • Must be willing to work in New York City
  • Must be willing to submit to a background investigation
  • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States


  • Strong command of: digital video file formats; working with source video/material of varying quality and technical specs (frame rate, codec, etc); export troubleshooting
  • Exhibit talent for conceptual thinking and writing skills
  • Strong story telling skills a must
  • Promo writing experience a must
  • Demonstrated ability to edit a wide variety of on-air promotions
  • Proven creative vision and interest in developing a variety of creative tones and styles
  • Must have the ability to meet tight deadlines, in a fast-paced creative environment
  • Strong communication skills, organizational skills and attention to detail required
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects at once
  • Self-motivated, positive attitude
  • Appreciation of horror/thriller content a plus
  • Knowledge of After Effects a plus
